Raising a mug to the work of the Samaritans - MP Alex Sobel
A WHARFEDALE MP has backed the Samaritans’ Brew Monday initiative.
The charity held the event on January 21 - often labelled the most difficult day of the year - to celebrate the tradition of people getting together for a cup of tea.
MP Alex Sobel (Lab, Leeds North West) said: “Brew Monday is asking people to do something simple and practical to help others: take time for a cuppa and a chat with anyone who may be going through a tough time.”
