A VISIT to the Calderdale Industrial Museum at Halifax was the final event of the year for Keighley Association of Engineers.
Members and guests were given a guided tour and shown a wide range of working exhibits, from large machine tools once made in the town and machinery for wrapping sweets, to carpet-weaving looms.
The association – founded more than a century ago – organises a syllabus including technical lectures on various engineering subjects and visits, plus there is an annual dinner.
Meetings will resume next month.
