GUISELEY Art Club raised a record £280 from commission on sales of paintings at its art exhibition in November and is donating the money to Guide Dogs for the Blind.

The Guide Dogs charity helps blind and partially sighted people across the UK through the provision of guide dogs, mobility and other rehabilitation services. It takes two years to train a guide dog and the ‘whole life’ cost of each dog is £50,000. The charity relies solely on voluntary donations and legacy income.
