FIFTEEN charities took part in the annual Grand Charity Christmas Fayre on Saturday, December 1 at the Clarke Foley Centre in Ilkley.
The Fayre was opened by Ilkley Town Crier Isabel Ashman and, in spite of the weather, people turned out to enjoy the festive live music from members of New Horizons followed by the Chippendale Singers.
There was a variety of stalls offering Christmas goods and the chance to win prizes in an assortment of raffles and tombolas.
All the money raised went to the charities taking part.
The event was organised by Ilkley Friends of Martin House Children’s Hospice.
