MENSTON Arts Club showcased the talents of their artists and craftspeople on the weekend of November 17 and 18.

A host of skills were on show at the Kirklands Community Centre, Menston.

Artists and craftspeople exhibited and sold their paintings. The favourite painting voted by the public went to Rob Thomson for his stunning watercolour of Old Whitby.

Visitors also got to see a WW1 display researched and designed by Menston resident, Judith Knaggs.

The village of Menston lost 50 of its young men during the Great War. The club will be donating some of the exhibitions profits towards the charity “Help for Heroes”.

The club would like to thank everyone who attended and hopes to see everyone again at the May exhibition.
