PRE-school and nursery children who attend The Railway Children in Menston raised nearly £300 for Children in Need by taking on a Whopping Welly Walk. The children, staff and parents climbed up Otley Chevin.
Nursery owner Zandra Monroe-Cochrane thanked the Chevin Inn for providing hot drinks at the half way mark, the public who donated and cheered the group and The Fox at Menston for providing delicious tomato soup and homemade rolls at the finish line. She added: “Fabulous community spirit Menston!”
