A BUSINESS owner says the latest raid on his firm by cruel yobs who ransacked the premises is the "final straw".

Tom Hirst, of Dimensional Stone Sales, Gordon Street, Bradford, shared these shocking pictures of the mindless destruction.

It's thought the firm, which specialises in natural stone fireplaces and hearths, was targeted in the early hours of this morning.

Mr Hirst estimates the cost of the damage stands at around £10,000. It's another blow for the business, which was targeted in a similar raid back in July.

He said the business has been "totally ransacked", with the trashing of an office cabin and kitchen, smashing customers' orders, smashing through doors and swiping tools among some of the damage unleashed by the culprits.

The pictures show a scene of chaos, with a window ripped from a cabin, the windows of a digger smashed through and stone smashed.

Even money raised for the Children in Need appeal was stolen and some of Mr Hirst's cards have been used overnight.

"I've never known anything like it," said Mr Hirst.

"It's one of our busiest times of year. You can repair a window, the hand tools, you can replace them.

"It's the work, you never get that back. To think the lads have grafted, making something beautiful, and someone comes and smashes it."

He added: "It's a total nightmare. It's the level of violation."

Mr Hirst said it wasn't an isolated incident - the raid back in July cost the business around £3,000 to £4,000.

"Your insurance goes sky-high because of where you are," he said.

"The insurance premium has gone through the roof."

And Mr Hirst said this would be the push for the business to move out of Bradford.

"This will be the final straw," he said. "The damage they have caused is unreal.

"They've been here at least an hour given the amount of damage they've done."

A spokesperson for West Yorkshire Police said: Police are appealing for witnesses following a burglary at a premise on Gordon Street, Bradford.

"The incident is believed to have happened overnight/in the early hours of November 17.

"The suspects entered the property, causing damage and making a search of the premise, before making off with a large quantity of goods.

"Enquiries remain ongoing. Anyone with information is asked to contact police on 101, quoting log number 457 of 17/11."
