FORMER students of Prince Henry’s Grammar School are being invited to take a trip down memory lane.

A tour is being offered on Saturday, November 17 to anyone who used to either study at the Otley school or who has parents or grandparents who did.

The tour starts at 10.30am and will show visitors around everywhere from the original, Listed building to the new, infilled Quad Sixth Form Area and the Science Block.

The event is part of a programme Prince Henry’s is running to mark the 100th anniversary of its reopening in 1918 and will be led by Assistant Faculty Leader for English, Chris Smith.

Assistant Headteacher Stephen Clarkson said: “Ex-students who come around find it amazing how much the school has changed.

“It seemed natural to run a tour as part of our celebrations for the 100th anniversary of us moving to Farnley Lane.”

The tour is free but places are limited and should be booked by calling Alison Kilmartin on (01943) 463524, e-mail 100years@princehenrys.co.uk .
