YOUNG musicians and singers can perform at new free Open Mic sessions in Otley.
Woolpack Music Studios has organised two events, open to anyone and with microphones, amplification and sound support provided, to fill a gap in the market.
Richard Sabey from the Studios said: “You can’t move for adult open mics in Otley but there’s no place, outside of school, specifically for young people to try their hand at performing in a welcoming and supportive environment.
“Any young person under 18 can come along and perform.”
The first session takes place from 3pm to 5pm on Sunday, November 18 while the second runs from 12.30pm to 2.30pm on Sunday, December 9.
Entry is free to all and friends and family are also welcome to attend as audience members.
