AN interpretation panel has been installed at the lower tarn in Ilkley illustrating its use and development from a mill pond known as Craig Dam.
It has been joint funded by FOIM and BMDC with the history written by Mark Hunneball from White Wells. Appropriately it tells the story of the suffragettes who held a rally at the tarn 100 years ago which was attended by over a thousand people.
