WHITE Cross Vets is the official new kit sponsor for Guiseley Juniors Football Club’s under 11s.

The team is currently enjoying a seven game unbeaten run in the new shirts. Guiseley Juniors compete against other teams throughout the local area in the Craven League, playing home games at St Mary’s School, Menston.

Justin Phillips, head of marketing at the vets, said they had been caring for pets in Guiseley and the surrounding areas since 1937 and always strived to give back to the local community.

He said: “Guiseley Juniors has also been around for many years and gives hundreds of local youngsters the opportunity to play sport every week, so it’s a great organisation for us to support and be involved with.

“It’s fantastic to see the team enjoying such a great start to their opening seven matches and everyone at White Cross Vets will definitely be cheering them on as the season progresses.”

Jason Longley, who manages and coaches the team, added: “Kit costs are a significant expense for the team and having the generous support and backing of White Cross Vets makes a real difference. There’s no doubt that wearing a smart new kit, that the players look good and feel comfortable in, also translates into their performance on the pitch and we’re delighted with the start we’ve had to the season.”
