THE BLACK Dyke Band will perform at a special Remembrance show in Guiseley.
The multi-award winning group will play at Guiseley School on Thursday, November 8 to commemorate the centenary of the Armistice.
The event starts at 7.30pm and tickets cost £12 with proceeds going to the Royal British Legion Poppy Appeal and Tearfund.
Senior Minister at Guiseley Baptist Church, Micky Munroe, said: “We are thrilled to have the enormous talents of this world renowned band to launch our Remembrance Week.
“Along with our friends in the Methodist Church and St Oswald’s we will be remembering the one hundred years since the ending of hostilities in the First World War.”
Tickets can be booked by calling (01943) 884233 and are also available, for cash only, from the Baptist Church’s offices at Manchester House, on Oxford Road, between 9.30am and 4.30pm on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
