GUISELEY-based Akito Scissors is holding a twitter auction to raise funds for the Little Princess Trust.

The company is asking hairdressing salons and barbers to join in raising funds, and it is giving goody bags containing a variety of hair care products that can be used for an in-salon raffle .

The twitter auction will take place on September 30 for the signed Andrew Barton book Shiny Happy Hair. Anyone wanting to take part should log in between 6pm and 8pm.

The company is also donating £2 to the trust for every Little Princess hair donation it is tagged in through its Facebook page during September.

The Little Princess Trust provides real hair wigs free of charge to children and young people up to the age of 24 who have lost their hair due to cancer treatment and other illnesses.
