AIREBOROUGH Camera Club is launching an open competition on the theme of Travel and Landscape.
The competition, which is free to enter and open to all, will have two sections - Secondary, for young people aged between 11 and 18, and Adults, for ages 19 and above. Present ACC members or professional photographers are not eligible to enter.
The top prize in the adult section will be a £100 holiday voucher. The winner of the secondary section will received £40.
Images can show anything connected with travel at home or abroad - places, sights, buildings, people, festivals, flora or fauna, or the process of travelling itself.
Entries will be accepted from October 1 and the closing date is Friday, January 4. Winners will be notified by February 1.
Images should be emailed as jpegs, with the title and author clearly identified, to acc.competitions@gmail.com.
