A CRASH earlier this morning caused delays for motorists on a busy city centre road.

The collision occurred at around 10:34am on Manningham Lane, near to the Gulf petrol station, police confirmed.

A black BMW 525D and a grey Toyota Avensis were involved in the crash.

One witness said the drivers were in an ambulance, but police revealed there were no injuries.

The witness said: "There must have been some collision as both cars were totalled."

Pictures show the bonnet of a black vehicle bent upwards and the right front side shattered.

One fire engine can be seen, with a fire crew working on the wreckage.

Metro Services, 622, 623, 626, 680 were being diverted via Lumb Lane with delays and cancellations expected due to the accident.

The Keighley Bus Company's Shuttle 662 was also impacted.

But, a tweet from Metro at 11:30am said the collision had been cleared.
