STORIES about overseas adventures will be shared when a Wildlife and Safari Travel Show comes to Harrogate this month.

The event takes place at the Harrogate Convention Centre on Saturday, September 29 and Sunday, September 30 and will let visitors talk to a variety of specialist travel representatives.

Attractions will include a Tusk Charity Auction and a Virtual Reality Theatre experience that offers users the chance to watch 360-degree wildlife and safari videos and even pose beside the Victoria Falls, in Zambia.

Sketch for Survival, a charity dedicated to raising awareness about species extinction, will also be unveiling a wall mosaic of an elephant made up of pictures of dogs and their owners who have taken part in the #selfieforsurvival campaign.

Wildfoot Travel, meanwhile, will be offering free entry into their prize draw to win two places to Uganda, including international flights, on a gorilla and chimp trekking trip.

Tickets for the Wildlife and Safari Travel Show cost £8 for one day or £12 for both days - while Wildfoot Travel is offering a complimentary e-ticket, to allow free access, from its website at: www.wildfoottravel.com/news-wildlife-safari-show2018 .
