HAREWOOD Bridge will be closed overnight on Thursday, September 6.
The Grade 2 listed structure on the A61 will be shut from 7.30pm on September 6 to 5.30am on September 7 to allow an investigation of surface cracking on the carriageway.
Work will be carried out to excavate the carriageway to allow a detailed inspection to the structural concrete slabs. Repointing work will also be carried out to some of the parapets.
Diversions will be in place for traffic, and pedestrian access will be maintained at all time.
