A YEADON-BASED hair stylist is in the running to win a national industry award.
Anabelle Harpin, the Creative Director at Yazz Number One Hair Studio, has been chosen as a finalist in this year's UK GL Awards.
Anabelle, a Great Lengths (luxury hair extensions brand) extensionist, is in two creative categories in the final - Captivating Colour and Bridal Creation.
The Captivating Colour category called for entries which showcased how a customer's base hair colour had been enhanced by applying Great Lengths hair extensions.
The Bridal Creation class, meanwhile, was for entries that showed how the extensions could help bridal clients achieve the their 'dream hair' for their wedding day.
Anabelle was announced as a finalist following an in-depth judging process by a panel that was packed with industry experts.
The UK GL Awards presentation ceremony will be held on Sunday, September 16 at the Royal Armouries in Leeds.
Each winner will receive prizes that include two tickets for a group tour of the Great Lengths production facility, in Rome, in 2019.
