A DEFIBRILLATOR has been installed at Ben Rhydding Golf Club.
The equipment has been put in place outside the clubhouse and is for the use of members and the local community. The automatic defibrillator has been jointly funded - with half the money coming from Ilkley Round table and the other half donated by Ben Rhydding Golf Club Captain Bryn Robinson from his charity money. It was bought through Yorkshire Ambulance and Community First Responders.
Guy Weston, community service officer for Ilkley Round Table said: “This is the latest defibrillator Ilkley Round Table have been able to fund in the local area providing even greater coverage. As a simple way to save lives we were happy to make this donation. Of course the hope is that it’s not often used, but it gives our community peace of mind to know this facility is close at hand.”
