THE GUISELEY Senior Citizens annual trip will take place on July 29.
This year the trip will go to St Anne's in Lancashire, leaving Guiseley Morrisons at 8.15am and returning at 8.45pm. Local people will be able to find out more at a coffee morning at the scout hut from 9.30am to 11.30am on Monday, July 14. Funds for the trip have been raised with a scaled down Guiseley Carnival.
Marian Ealham, who set up the Guiseley Senior Citizens group 30 years ago, has recently lost her husband Bob after a illness.
She said: "I want to say a big thank you to my committee for keeping things afloat while I was out of the loop."
