AN Archaeology walk on Ilkley Moor took place on Sunday lead by Colin Beecham and Barry Wilkinson, of the Friends of Ilkley Moor.
The walk was for Ridings Dowsers who are affiliated to The British Society of Dowsers. The group visited Haystacks Rock, Pancake Stone,The Idol Stones and the Backstone Beck enclosure and ended the walk at Hanging Stone Quarry.
Mark Barwell, Treasurer of Ridings Dowsers said: "We experience and encourage and teach all aspects of dowsing: Water, Earth Energies, Health and Archaeology. Our members are guided by a strict code of conduct based on respect for the environment and community. We hold regular monthly meeting, visits and workshops, which can be attended by non-members, details of which are published on our website."
