ILKLEY'S New Horizons Orchestra will be in concert on Friday, December 15 at 2.30pm at the Clarke Foley Centre in Ilkley.
This is the fourth year that the orchestra will present their Musical Christmas Card to the community. This year’s programme includes the ever-popular Skaters Waltz (Waldteufel), Johann Strauss’ Thunder and Lightning polka, some popular Christmas classics, In Dulci Jubilo – arranged for the brass and woodwind sections.
The audience will be able to join in some carols and before and after the concert enjoy seasonal food at the Clarke Foley Centre.
The Musical Christmas Card is conducted by the orchestra’s musical director David Dawson. Admission is free with voluntary donations to two charities. This concert is part of the Ilkley Arts Festival.
