AS part of the Ilkley Art’s Festival, Ilkley’s one and only all male acapella singers, ‘Sing Your Rocks off’ are holding a festive concert like no other in the Wharfdale Valley. And all profits are in aid of Prostate Cancer
One of Yorkshire’s best, yet least known , exponents of early American Country Blues music, Rod Gooch will be one of two special guests. The other guest on the night will be John Senior whose repertoire of comic folk songs always has the audience in raptures.
‘Sing Your Rocks Off’ will provide some wonderful harmonies and to cap it all, audience participation will be mandatory. Ged Faricy of Sing Your Rocks Off said: “The emphasis will be on having a good time and fun with some top class musicians and performers to boot. It will be a festive concert with a difference.”
This one off event will take place at The Ilkley Moor Vaults (The Taps) on Sunday, December 11 starting at 7.30pm. Tickets (£5 which will be donated to Prostate Cancer Research) from Ged on 07833 937254 or turn up and pay on the door.
