DEMENTIA Friendly Ilkley Action have been busy during this week's national Dementia Awareness Week.
The Clarke Foley Centre in Ilkley is the hub for events and stalls, which have been set out by charities such as the Alzheimer's Society and Carers' Resource, providing information for those living with dementia and their families.
Abbeyfield and Ilkley Library are among local businesses and organisations displaying what services they offer those with dementia. Information is also available on what other businesses and organisations can do to offer support and work towards making Ilkley a dementia-friendly community.
The awareness week in Ilkley includes an invitation-only awards ceremony on Friday evening to honour companies who have begun to work towards becoming dementia friendly. It will be attended by Ilkley's MP Kris Hopkins.
All information stands will be available at the Clarke Foley Centre until Saturday.
