Ilkley Dynamo 2 Keighley Town 0
DYNAMO'S first clean sheet in 22 games enabled them to end Keighley Town's impressive run off 11
consecutive Wharfedale Triangle Premier Division League wins.
Although the visitors controlled the early exchanges Dynamo soon went up a gear and succeeded in pinning back Keighley.
Both Michael Bloom and Ollie Blair were completely focussed in defence. Dynamo looked the more dangerous side as they began to dominate.
Some excellent probing from Danny Kenna and Ben Cater enabled the quicksilver Tom Rennolds to break free and hit home a low shot to put Dynamo 1-0 ahead.
Ross Wilson, whose performance was marked by his fearless running, was brought down in the penalty area after an impressive foray forward.
A confident Tom Higman blasted home the subsequent penalty to give Dynamo a 2-0 cushion. They continued to increase the tempo and fine contributions from Tom Hunter and Dom Grimes ensured they remained in the driving seat.
