WHITE Wells plunge pool on Ilkley Moor will be open as normal on New Year's day for brave bathers who fancy a chilly start to 2016.
The historic bath house, off Wells Road, will be open from 10am to 5pm on Friday. Visitors will be challenged to try a refreshing dip in White Wells' celebrated plunge pool. Parking is at the foot of the moor, off Wells Road. Caretaker, Mark Hunnebell, said White Wells would be open as usual, despite losing the surface of its access road in the worst of last weekend's flooding.
