CHILDREN at Ghyll Royd School and Pre-School are celebrating artistic success at the prestigious Independent Schools Association Art Competition.
The high quality contest for pupils of ISA member schools is an opportunity for children to showcase their talents and compete at a national level.
The Burley-in-Wharfedale school is delighted to have received three second places.
Headteacher, David Martin, said: "I am delighted the children have received such a wonderful accolade for their creativity.
"The is the first time we have entered such a high-profile event, and to be awarded three second places is a tremendous achievement. The girls and boys are thoroughly enjoying experimenting with a wide range of medium under the expert tuition of our new art teacher, which has resulted in masterpieces such as the undersea quilt."
