ARTWORK by Geraldine Thompson will remain on display in Ilkley until this Sunday (June 21).
The Gallery at The Art Shop, Hawksworth Street, is playing host to the exhibition by the Addingham-based artist.
Geraldine is a member of Leeds Fine Artists, and her work in Great Britain, France, Spain, Italy, USA and Australia.
She focuses on the perception of interconnectedness and interdependency, using texture as a significant vehicle of expression, as the spiritual and material converge and colour is transformed by light. As such, she is interested in exploring materials and processes, often applying mixed media to a desired effect. She takes a sketchbook everywhere, and is happy working both on site and in her Addingham studio.
Her work can be seen online at geraldinethompsonart.com.
The gallery is open from 9am to 5.30pm Monday to Saturday.
