THERE were jam tarts aplenty and 'twinkling of the tea' when Burley Theatre Group recently held a Mad Hatter's Tea Party at the Roundhouse in Burley in Wharfedale.
The group celebrated the 150 year anniversary of 'Alice in Wonderland' by Lewis Carroll while researching their roles for their forthcoming show. As actors dedicated to their art, they bravely worked their way through cakes, biscuits, cups of tea and of course – jam tarts.
If you would like to grin like a 'Cheshire Cat', then check out their entertaining, fun and of course 'entirely mad' Alice in Wonderland family production.
Performances are at the Queens Hall, Burley in Wharfedale on Wednesday, June 10 to Friday, June 12 at 7.30pm and then Saturday, June 13 at 1pm and 5.30pm. Fancy dress is welcome.
Tickets can be booked online at burleytheatre.org.uk or by calling (01943) 863478.
