ENTRY for the Ilkley Triathlon, which takes place on September 20, run by the Leeds Bradford Triathlon Club, will open on May 1.
Last year, the event sold out in 14 hours, had a record number of entries and was voted the best Race of the Year at a national triathlon award ceremony.
Held at the Lido, the sprint distance course is an ideal event for beginners, with an indoor swim, scenic 15km bike ride and a 5km run.
Now well established in its 23rd year, and a fixture in the local sporting calendar, it’s a great event to participate in as an individual or as part of a team.
With multiple laps, it is perfect to support friends and family taking part.
