ILKLEY Camera Club’s Creative Light Exhibition 2015 will be formally opened by the Lord Mayor of Bradford, Councillor Mike Gibbons, on Saturday, February 14 at 2pm.
The exhibition of over 200 prints and projected images, will feature the work of one of Yorkshire’s top rated camera clubs. Admission is free.
Nick Hodgson, Ilkley Camera Club’s president, said: “With our Creative Light theme we are making the point that photography is all about drawing with light. We have challenged photographers to do something magical with the light or capture something special that the light reveals.”
He added: “The club has often represented Yorkshire in national photographic competitions and has some international level photographers among its members. So the standard of work at the exhibition is high.”
The exhibition will be at the Manor House Museum, Castle Yard, Ilkley LS29 9DT from Saturday, February 14 to Sunday, April 12.
