LIBRARIES in Ilkley, Burley-in-Wharfedale and Menston will he holding magical activity sessions next week as Bradford libraries hold their first Harry Potter night.
Burley and Menston Library are doing a quick draw challenge, a Diagon Alley Hunt and other activities next Thursday, while Ilkley Library staff will dress up and invite children to do the same, reading Harry Potter book extracts as well holding a crafts session. There will also be “potions” to sample.
For everyone who will be attending a library event there is a competition to test your Harry Potter knowledge.
The question is: “The four houses at Hogwarts are named after the founding wizards and witches. What are they called?”
Put your answers onto a postcard and bring it along to an event with your name, age, school and telephone number in BLOCK capitals.
Postcards need to be marked for the attention of Christine Donnelly, DO:YP, Ilkley Library.
Events all begin at 3.30pm.
