NEW street lights have been approved by Bradford Council to replace ageing lamp posts on Grove Road.
The council’s Keighley Area Committee agreed to go ahead with the work last week, after officers recommended the replacement of the lighting columns as a priority.
Ward councillors have asked to see the plans for the new lights, which will be ‘soft white’ LED lights. Councillor Martin Smith said district councillors would view the plans and offer comments where some of the lights are repositioned.
