Families can hunt elves and make decorations at Ilkley’s Manor House Art Gallery and Museum’s Danish Christmas.
Young people will be able to hunt for niss – Danish elves – who protect farmers’ homes and children who have taken shelter from the cold.
They will also be able to make traditional Danish heart-shaped paper decorations every day until January 6 2013.
All materials are provided but children must be accompanied.
The museum will be open on Tuesdays from 1-5pm; Wednesday to Saturday 11am-5pm and Sundays from 1-4pm until January 6 2013.
