Addingham Pantomime Group takes to the stage tomorrow to perform Babes in the Wood.

Packed with fun, slapstick comedy and toe-tapping numbers, directors Carole Baker and Vickie Burns bring the tale to life, with Colette Howarth taking on the role of Robin Hood, supported by Eleanor Ellis, Rory Stead and Richard Vaughan.

Lauren Ellis plays principal girl Maid Marian, and Vickie Burns will play the evil Lady Grizella, opposite Jon Shaw’s Sir George Gisbourne.

Comedy will be provided by Colin Waterman as the dame, while Angi Clarke and Jane Ison are the snooty daughters of the Sheriff.

Emma Roberts takes on her first principal part as Fearne the forest fairy, Benson the butler is played by Paul Jennings and Sabi Robinson takes the role of Lucretia the maid.

Andy Burns, winner of best comedy support in the Wharfedale Festival of Theatre for the past two years, is Manly Stanley, who joins forces with the devious and convincing Dicky Fingers, played by Charles Arrowsmith.

Performances will be held at the memorial hall tomorrow and Saturday and from Wednesday, February 23, to Saturday, February 26. Matinees will be held on Saturday, February 19 and 26. To book tickets, call Jane Gregory on (01943) 831007.
