GEORDIE comedian Carl Hutchinson is bringing his latest stand-up routine to Otley.

I Know I Shouldn’t Behave Like This shows the comedian taking his unique, adolescent approach to ‘grown-up’ issues.

Featuring observations on everything from buying a house to having children, the show is built around the theme that a man of his age shouldn’t really behave in the way he does.

Hutchinson paints a picture of a self-effacing character who has no time for ‘pretentiousness’ and likes to sit around in his house and get drunk - with anything else proving to be a bit of an inconvenience.

He describes the show as ‘the story of a guy who likes a drink or two and, if it all gets a bit messy, that’s all the better’.

Hutchinson has featured on Comedy Central’s Stand Up Central and The Chris Ramsey Show and held a sold-out tour in 2017, and prides himself on telling stories that have crowds ‘laughing their heads off’.

He will be performing at Otley Courthouse on Friday, December 13.

Suitable for anyone aged 15 or over, the show starts at 8pm and tickets cost £15.

The following week will see Fidget Theatre bringing Jack Frost, A Joyful Christmas Adventure to the Courthouse for a six day run.

The magical tale is described as ‘a music filled Christmas show about friendship and the joy of joining in’.

It features Holly, a little girl who plays the trumpet, and her adventures after she befriends the magical winter sprite Jack Frost.

When plans for Holly’s school concert hit problems, she and Jack work hard to make sure that the show goes on - and that no-one is left outside this Christmas.

Featuring a community cast and live band, Jack Frost will be performed at the Courthouse from Tuesday, December 17 to Sunday, December 22.

The weekday shows take place at 10.30am while on the Saturday and Sunday there will be 10.30am and 3pm performances.

Tickets are selling fast and have already sold out for Wednesday, December 18.

Suitable for ages four and over, Jack Frost is being presented by Fidget Theatre in association with Little Mighty.

Tickets cost £9 for adults and £7 children, with a special offer available for group bookings.
