THE “RAT Pack” will descend on Yeadon in a festive tribute production.

The Rat Pack Christmas Show starring David Alacey channelling his inner Frank Sinatra, ITV News Central weather presenter Des Coleman in Sammy Davis Jnr mode and The Royal Albert Hall performer Paul Drakeley as Dean Martin heads to Yeadon Town Hall on December 11.

David has taken off Ol’ Blue Eyes in BBC1 programme Strictly Come Dancing and the 2004 Royal Variety concert. He also sang at a VE day concert in Birmingham which was attended by more than 35,000. He has performed overseas in Qatar, Italy, Monte Carlo and Paris.

The Sinatra Estate said: “His recording of the theme from New York New York for Atari Games is too close for comfort.”

Former The Stage editor Peter Hepple described it as “A near perfect impression.”

David said: “The show is a recreation of a magical Christmas at The Sands with Sinatra, Martin and Davis and we aim to bring the style, glamour and excitement of the Las Vegas heyday to vivid life.”

“It includes all the great hits - My Way, Mr Bojangles, New York New York, Amore, Fly Me to the Moon and seasonal classics such as Winter Wonderland, Let it Snow and of course White Christmas. Special guest Charley Toulan will perform many of the great songs associated with Marilyn Monroe, including Diamonds are a Girl’s Best Friend and My Heart Belongs to Daddy.

“We have so much fun during the Christmas show and hopefully the audience feel the same way.”

Des’s CV includes Eastenders and ITV News Central where he is a weather broadcaster.

His other credits also include presentation work for BBC1 on The One Show, movies Is Harry on the Boat and Submerged and West End musical Porgy and Bess.

Paul has performed as Dean Martin across the UK including at The Royal Albert Hall. His TV credits include BBC1 series Inside Out. Charley won best Marilyn Monroe lookalike at the 2018 National Tribute Music Awards.
