THIS summer, from August 27 to September 1 Yeadon Town Hall is being transformed into a circus ring.

The Town Hall team are working in association with Guiseley-based Codswallop CIC to bring the project to life.

Led by Ringmaster Jacob Phillips, Artistic Director of Codswallop CIC, the circus show will dazzle audiences with a programme packed full of talent.

Jugglers, aerial performers and an illusionist are expected to stun audiences with their performances.

With hour-long shows running throughout each day, and plenty of themed activities to get involved with the circus makes for ideal summer holiday entertainment.

Family tickets cost £32.

In the run up to the circus show, Codswallop CIC are hosting a Runaway to the Circus with Mr Montgomery! event, providing an opportunity for

children to learn circus tricks in preparation for the circus coming to town.

Children are being invited to take part in a colouring competition or short story competition for the chance to win a family ticket to the show. The

colouring sheet and further information is available to download from www.yeadoncircus.com .

Jamie Hudson, Director of Yeadon Town Hall, says: “We wanted to provide an opportunity for families to get together and enjoy live entertainment - and transforming the Town Hall into a circus is an ideal way to attract all members of the community. This will be a fully accessible, enjoyable extravaganza and we can’t wait to welcome Mr Montgomery and his

troupe of circus performers to Yeadon!”
