LEEDS Playhouse’s fantastically fun new production Around the World in 80 Days is now running in the Pop-Up theatre.

These production imagesshow the talented cast of four actors undertaking daring escapades and fantastical physical routines inspired by circus and Vaudeville, in this fun-filled performance adapted by Toby Hulse from the acclaimed Jules Verne novel.

Starring Leeds Playhouse ensemble members Joe Alessi (Europe, Leeds Playhouse), Robert Pickavance (A Christmas Carol, [the fall of] The Master Builder, Leeds Playhouse), Dan Parr (Road, Romeo & Juliet, Leeds Playhouse), and Darren Kuppan (Partition, Leeds Playhouse (2017), A Christmas Carol, Leeds Playhouse), Around the World in 80 Days is the story of dapper Victorian gent Phileas Fogg (Pickavance), who wagers he can circumnavigate the globe using only steamer and rail in just 80 days.

Around the World in 80 Days is directed by Leeds Playhouse Director of Creative Engagement Alexander Ferris (Searching for the Heart of Leeds, Leeds Playhouse; Rise, The Old Vic), with Designer Amanda Stoodley, Lighting Designer Tim Skelly, Sound Designer and Composer Dom Coyote and Movement Director Jennifer Jackson joining the creative team.
