Who is this girl?
We know the picture was taken around 118 years ago, and we know the name of the photographer - but no other details remain.
Now Aireborough Historical Society archivist Carlo Harrisons is hoping someone will be able to identity the mystery girl.
He said: “This girl is from our archives, we know that E E Slater took the photograph around about 1900 but who is she? She has to be someone’s grandmother, great grandmother or even great great grandmother.
“It’s such a shame to permanently archive her onto our website without knowing her full name.A valuable lesson to everyone, caption your digital photographs, write on the back of your existing photographs otherwise this happens.”
Carlton Lane, Aireborough was pictured in the ‘big snow’ of 1933.
