CITY OF BRADFORD METROPOLITAN DISTRICT COUNCIL (WAITING LOADING AND PARKING) (CONSOLIDATION)

CITY OF BRADFORD METROPOLITAN DISTRICT COUNCIL (WAITING LOADING AND PARKING) (CONSOLIDATION) (AMENDMENT NO. 24) ORDER 2018 - PART A VARIOUS LOCATIONS IN THE BRADFORD WEST AREA

Notice is hereby given that City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council made the above Order on 18th December 2018 under its powers contained in the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which is to introduce the following restrictions:-
i) 'Disabled Persons Parking Place' on a length of Arncliffe Terrace, Little Horton Green, Queen's Road, Bishop Street and Kensington Street;

ii) 'no waiting' between 8am-6pm Monday to Saturday on a length of Horton Grange Road;

iii) 'no waiting at any time' on lengths of Infirmary Street, Tyson Street,Hey Street, Smith Street, Hallfield Road, Houghton Place, Summerville Road, Fieldhead Street, Princeville Road, Princeville Street, Pakington Street, Park Lane, Nursery Road, Altar Drive, Heaton Park Drive, Toller Lane, Queen's Road, Alice Street, Mornington Villas, West Lane, Market Street, Allerton Road, Wellington Street, James Street, Grape Street, Prospect Terrace, Chat Hill Road, Hughendon Drive, Ball Street, Durham Terrace, Upper Woodlands Road, Fairbank Road, Westfield Road, Bridgewater Road, Farfield Terrace, Nearcliffe Road, Lilycroft Walk, Crow Tree Lane, Yew Tree Avenue, Thorn Street, Northrop Close and Pearson Lane;

iv) 'limited waiting' of 1 hour (return prohibited within 2 hours) between 8am-6pm Monday to Saturday on a length of Longside Lane;

v) Revocation of the existing 'limited waiting' restrictions of 1 hour (return prohibited within 1 hour) between 8am-6pm Monday to Friday and between 8am-1pm Saturday on a length of Eldon Place;

vi) 'limited waiting' of 2 hours (return prohibited within 2 hours) between 8am-6pm Monday to Friday and between 8am-1pm on Saturday on a length of Eldon Place;

vii) 'no waiting' between 8am-6pm on all days on lengths of Woodhead Road;

viii) 'loading bay' - 30 mins allowed (return prohibited within 2 hours) between 8am-6pm Monday to Saturday on a length of Princeville Road;

ix) 'no waiting' between 7.30am-4pm Monday to Friday 1st September to 31st July on lengths of Bull Royd Lane and Vine Terrace (West);

x) 'no waiting' between 8.30am-9.30am and between 2.30pm-4pm Monday to Friday 1st September to 31st July on lengths of Terrington Crest, Bradford Road and Tanner Brook Close;

xi) 'no waiting' between 7am-6pm Monday to Friday on a length of Thornaby Drive;

xii) 'limited waiting' of 1 hour (return prohibited within 2 hours) between 8am-6pm Monday to Friday on lengths of Alice Street and Daisy Hill Lane;

xiii) 'no waiting' between 8.30am-4pm Monday to Friday 1st September to 31st July on lengths of Wood Place, Back Wood Street, Wood Street, Avenel Road, Sonning Road and Chelwood Drive;

xiv) 'no waiting' between 7.30am-5pm Monday to Friday 1st September to 31st July on lengths of Garforth Street and Prescott Terrace;

xv) Revocation of existing 'limited waiting' of 2 hours (return prohibited within 2 hours) between 8am-6pm Monday to Friday on a length of Daisy Hill Lane;

xvi) 'no waiting' between 8am-12 noon Monday to Friday on lengths of Jesmond Avenue, and Scotchman Road;

xvii) 'no waiting' between 8am-8pm Monday to Friday on a length of Crow Tree Lane;

xviii) 'permit parking' between 8am-8pm Monday to Friday on a length of Crow Tree Lane;

xix) 'no waiting' between 9am-5pm Monday to Friday on lengths of Yew Tree Avenue;

xx) 'no loading at any time' on a length of Duckworth Lane; and

xxi) 'no loading' between 7am-7pm on all days on lengths of Duckworth Lane and Prospect Place.

The Order comes into force on 1st January 2019 and a copy of the Order together with a map showing the affected roads may be examined during normal office hours at the Customer Services Reception, City Hall, Bradford
BD1 1HY.
If you wish to question the validity of the Order, or of any provision contained therein on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, or on the grounds that any requirements of that Act or of any Instrument made under it, have not been complied with in relation to the Order, you may, within six weeks from the date upon which the Order was made (i.e.18th December 2018) apply to the High Court for this purpose.
