ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 SECTION 14 CITY OF BRADFORD METROPOLITAN DISTRICT COUNCIL

WESTFIELD LANE, IDLE TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC (NO 903) ORDER

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council by reason to enable gas works proposed to be executed on or near Westfield Lane, Idle intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall proceed in the length of Westfield Lane from its junction with Highfield Road to a point outside No. 55 Westfield Lane.

PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to emergency vehicles or to vehicles being used in connection with the works proposed to be carried out on the said length of road. Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.

Alternative routes for vehicular traffic affected by the proposed Order will be available via Westfield Lane (unaffected section), Wrose Road, Highfield Road and vice versa.

The proposed Order will come into effect at 08:00 hours on 7th January 2019 and remain in force until 18:00 hours on 1st February 2019 (although the closure can remain in force for up to eighteen months if necessary). DATED this 13th day of December 2018
