PUBLIC FOOTPATH NO 170 (BRADFORD WEST) WESTMINSTER AVENUE CLAYTON

TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC (NO 877) ORDER

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council is satisfied pedestrians on or near Public Footpath No 170 (Bradford West) Westminster Avenue, Clayton should be restricted or prohibited because of the likelihood of danger to the public and intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall proceed in the length of Public Footpath No 170 (Bradford West) from its junction with Westminster Avenue to its junction with Public Footpath No 174 (Bradford West).

PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to pedestrians connected with the works proposed to be carried out on the said length of public footpath.

Alternative routes for pedestrians affected by the proposed Order will be available via Westminster Avenue, The Avenue, Delph Drive, Holts Lane, Public Footpath No 174 (Bradford West) and vice versa.

The proposed Order will come into effect on 12th November 2018 until 16th November 2018 and continue in effect on 10th December 2018 until 21st December 2018 (although the closure can remain in force for up to six months if necessary).
