ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 SECTION 14 CITY OF BRADFORD METROPOLITAN DISTRICT COUNCIL APPERLEY ROAD APPERLEY BRIDGE BRADFORD TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC (NO 794) ORDER
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that City of Bradford Metropolitan District
Council by reason to enable resurfacing works to be executed on or near
Apperley Road, Apperley Bridge has made the abovenamed Order the effect
of which is that no person shall proceed in the length of Apperley Road for
approximately 5 metres either side of Millman Swing Bridge.
PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to emergency vehicles
and vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on
the said length of road.
Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.
Alternative routes for vehicular traffic affected by the Order will be available
via Apperley Road (unaffected section), Hemingway Road, A657 Leeds
Road / New Line, A658 Harrogate Road and vice versa.
The Order comes into operation on 7th April 2018 and remains in force until
8th April 2018 (although the closure can remain in force for up to eighteen
months if necessary).
