ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 SECTION 14 CITY OF BRADFORD METROPOLITAN DISTRICT COUNCIL APPERLEY ROAD, APPERLEY BRIDGE TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC (NO.766) ORDER
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council by reason to enable bridge repair works to be executed on or near Apperley Road, Apperley Bridge has made the abovenamed Order the effect of which is that no person shall proceed in the length of Apperley Road between the points approximately 5 metres before and after it passes over the Milman Swing Bridge in either direction.

PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to emergency vehicles or to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on the said length of road.
Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.

Alternative routes for vehicular traffic affected by the proposed Order will be available via Apperley Road (unaffected section), Hemingway Road, A657 Leeds Road/New Line, A658 Harrogate Road and vice versa. The proposed Order will come into effect on 8th January 2018 and remain in force until 2nd February 2018 (both dates inclusive) (although the closure can remain in force for up to eighteen months if necessary).
