ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 SECTION 14 CITY OF BRADFORD METROPOLITAN DISTRICT COUNCIL

QUAKER LANE LITTLE HORTON BRADFORD TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC (NO 726) ORDER

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that City of Bradford Metropolitan District

Council by reason to enable water mains works proposed to be executed

on or near Quaker Lane, Little Horton intends not less than seven days

from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that

no person shall proceed in the length of Quaker Lane from its junction with

Seldon Street to a point outside No. 5 Quaker Lane.

PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to emergency vehicles

and vehicles being used in connection with the works proposed to be carried

out on the said length of road.

Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.

Alternative routes for vehicular traffic affected by the proposed Order will be available via Quaker Lane (unaffected section), Seldon Street, Melba Road, Hudson Avenue, Southfield Lane and vice versa.

The proposed Order will come into effect on 14th August 2017 and remain in force until 18th August 2017 (although the closure can remain in force for up to eighteen months if necessary). DATED this 3rd day of August 2017
