BOROUGH COUNCIL OF BOLTON THE BOLTON (HARWOOD AREA, BOLTON) (20 MPH SPEED LIMIT) (NO.) ORDER 2017

The Council propose to revoke The Bolton (New Lane Area, Bolton) (20 Mph Speed Limit) (No.3A) Order, 2001 and implement a new Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984; its effect will be to impose a speed limit of 20 mph on roads within the area bounded by Lea Gate, Longsight and Stitch Mi Lane. It further includes residential roads to the North of Longsight between Tottington Road and Roading Brook Road, as specified in the draft Order. A copy of the draft Order, together with relevant plans and statement of the reasons may be viewed online at wwwbolton.gov.uk/trafficorders or at Highways and Engineering Division, 3rd Floor, Paderborn House, Civic Centre, Bolton, during office hours (by appointment, tel. 01204 336677). Objections/representations to it should state the grounds and be sent by e-mail to highways@bolton.gov.uk or in writing to Highways and Engineering Division, 3rd Floor, Paderborn House, Civic Centre, Bolton BL1 1UA no later than 16th June 2017.

REGULATION ACT 1984 SECTION 14(1)
THE BOLTON (PUBLIC FOOTPATHS HORWICH 101 & HORWICH 105) (TEMPORARY CLOSURE) (NO.) ORDER 2017

The Borough Council of Bolton intends to make an Order not less than seven days from the date of this Notice.The effect of which will be operative from 5th June 2017 until 17th July 2017 inclusive and will prohibit all pedestrian traffic from using Public Footpaths Horwich 101 & Horwich 105, commencing from Chorley New Road; point A at grid reference SD 364485 410612 in a generally south west by southerly direction to point B at grid reference SD 364309 410374; as shown by the bold black line on the Order plan 1 Hor101/105 over a total distance of approximately 303 metres. An alternative route will be available commencing from Public Footpath Horwich 101; point A at grid reference SD 364485 410612, then Chorley New Road, Napier Drive, Aspinall Close; Horwich 106; Mansell Way, point B at grid reference SD 364309 410374 as shown by the blue line with arrowheads on the Order plan 1Hor101/105.
The Order is necessary to facilitate work to construct a new pipe and manhole for Nellies Clough water course and will continue between 5th June 2017 and 17th July 2017 inclusive, or until the works are completed, whichever is the earlier.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 SECTION 14(1) THE BOLTON (PUBLIC FOOTPATH NO. 13 TURTON BROMLEY CROSS) (TEMPORARY CLOSURE) (NO.24) ORDER 2017
The Borough Council of Bolton has made an Order, which will be operative on the 10th July 2017 until 15th July 2017 inclusive and will prohibit all pedestrian traffic from using Public Footpath No. 13 Turton Bromley Cross from Chapeltown Road in a generally east south easterly direction to Shady Lane over a total distance of approximately 22 metres. An alternative route will be available commencing from Chapeltown Road point A at grid reference SD 372923 413155 to Darwen Road then Shady Lane point B at grid reference SD 372943 413147 as shown by the blue line with arrowheads on the Order Plan. The Order is necessary to facilitate essential rail crossing works and will continue from
10th July 2017 to 15th July 2017 inclusive.
