BRADFORD CITY CENTRE - REVISION OF PAY AND DISPLAY CHARGES
AND ASSOCIATED WAITING RESTRICTIONS
NOTICE is hereby given that City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council made the above Orders 18 May 2017 under its powers contained in the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to revise and/or introduce:-
1. Operational hours of disabled persons parking bays on lengths of Aldermanbury, Barry Street, Bolton Road, Dale Street, Darley Street, Kirkgate, North Parade, Northgate and Piccadilly;

2. Operational hours of loading bays on lengths of Bank Street, Broadway, Cheapside, Darley Street, Great Cross Street, James Street, Kirkgate, Norfolk Gardens, North Parade, Sackville Street, Sunbridge Road, Westgate, Godwin Street and Northgate;

3. Operational hours of waiting restrictions on lengths of Canal Road, Dale Street, Godwin Street, Hallgate, Infirmary Street, John Street, Piccadilly, Rawson Road, Stone Street, Sackville Street, Salem Street, Simes Street and Upper Piccadilly;

4. Bus parking on a length of Piccadilly;

5. Permit parking on lengths of Salem Street, Mill Street and Canal Road;

6. Charges and/or conditions for parking at on-street pay and display parking places on lengths of Bank Street, Barry Street, Bolton Road, Bridge Street, Broadway, Canal Road, Cheapside, Dale Street, Hall Ings, Holdsworth Street, James Street, Kirkgate, Manor Row, Mill Street, , Piccadilly, Sackville Street, Salem Street, Sharpe Street, Simes Street. Stone Street, Sunbridge Road, Upper Piccadilly, Vicar Lane, West Street and Westgate. The charges will be operational between 8am and 6pm (Monday to Saturday) and between 11am and 5pm on Sundays. Charge Tariff Codes 4 & 5 shall apply to these parking places;

7. Charges and/or conditions for parking at on-street pay and display parking places on lengths of Darley Street, Godwin Street, North Parade and Rawson Road. The charges will be operational between 8am and 6pm (Monday to Saturday). Charge Tariff Codes 4 shall apply to these parking places;

8. Define all of the tariffs for the on-street parking places as follows:-

No charge
Tariff Code 1:
Up to 30 mins - 30p Up to 1 hour - 60p Up to 2 hours - £1.20 Up to 3 hours - £2.40 Up to 4 hours - £3.40 Maximum stay 4 hours
Tariff Code 2:
No charge
Tariff Code 3:
Up to 2 hours - 80p £2.50 all day
Tariff Code 4:
Monday to Saturday Up to 1 hour - 70p Up to 2 hours - £1.40
Maximum stay 2 hours (return prohibited within 2 hours)
Tariff Code 5
Sunday-£1.00 all day
9. Define all of the charges for permits, vouchers, dispensations and waivers for use within all the traffic regulation orders made by the City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council. The Orders come into force on 22nd May 2017 and copies of the Orders together with a map showing the affected roads may be examined during normal office hours at the Customer Services Reception, Ground Floor, City Hall, Bradford.
If you wish to question the validity of the Orders, or of any provision contained therein on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, or on the grounds that any requirements of that Act or of any Instrument made under it, have not been complied with in relation to the Orders, you may, within six weeks from the date upon which the Orders were made (ie 18th May 2017) apply to the High Court for this purpose.
