ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 SECTION 14 CITY OF BRADFORD METROPOLITAN DISTRICT COUNCIL

HAMMERTON STREET BRADFORD TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC (NO 650) ORDER

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council by reason to enable bridge inspection works to be executed on or near Hammerton Street, Bradford has made the above named Order the effect of which is that no person shall proceed in the length of Hammerton Street, Bradford for approximately 20 metres in a north westerly direction from the railway bridge to approximately 20 metres in a south easterly direction from the railway bridge.

PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to emergency vehicles and vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on the said length of road.

Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.

Alternative routes for vehicular traffic affected by the Order will be available via Hammerton Street (unaffected section), Buck Street, Dryden Street, Wakefield Road, Bowling Back Lane and vice versa. The Order comes into operation at 22:00 hours on 25th February 2017 and remains in force until 06:00 hours on 26th February 2017 (although the closure can remain in force for up to eighteen months if necessary).
