Reeves Street Leigh - Prohibition and Restriction of Waiting Order 2021 Notice of Making
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Wigan Borough Council, in exercise of the powers under Section 1, 2,3 and 4 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the Traffic Management Act 2004, and of all other enabling powers and after consultation with the Chief Officer of Police In accordance with Part III of Schedule 9 of the Act of 1984, has made the Wlgan Borough (Decrimlnallsatlon of Parking) (Leigh Roads) (Traffic Regulation Consolidation) Order 2004 (Amendment No.131) Order 2021 which will come into operation on 27th August 2021. The effect of the Order will be to introduce no waiting at any time on:
* Reeves Street Leigh - south side from its {unction with Leigh Road to a point 43 metres east of its junction with Leigh Road
* Reeves Street Leigh - north side from its {unction with Leigh Road to a point 23 metres east of its junction with Leigh Road
The effect of the Order will be to introduce no waiting on any day 8am - 6pm:
* Reeves Street Leigh - north side from a point 23 metres east of its junction with Leigh Road to its junction with Oxford Street
* Reeves Street Leigh - south side from a point 43 metres east of its junction with Leigh Road to its junction with Oxford Street
The effect of the order will be to revoke the prohibition of waiting at any time on:
* Reeves Street Leigh - both sides from its junction with Leigh Road to a point 6 metres east of its junction with Leigh Road
The effect of the order will be to revoke the restriction of waiting on the following roads at the following times:
* Reeves Street Leigh - both sides from its junction with Oxford Street to a point 6 metres east of its junction with Leigh Road on any day 8am - 6pm

Any person who desires to question the validity of the Order or any provision contained therein on the grounds -
(a) that it is not within the powers of Section 1 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984; or the Traffic Management Act 2004 or
(b) that any requirement of the said Section 1, or of Part III of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, or of any regulations made under the said Part III of Schedule 9 or of any requirement of the 2004 Act, has not been complied with, may within six weeks of
11/08/2021 make application for the purpose
